Reviving

A few months ago my angel wing begonia got broken off somehow (squirrel?) at soil level. Oh no! Disaster! However, a few weeks later I was delighted to see some new growth sprouting. Not only did the plant revive lusher than before, it now has three or four flower buds about to open. Amazing plant.

Dollar a Day

You don't have to be a Muslim to get some good ideas from this inspiring article (Thanks, Aamir). Fasting is a well-established tradition in Christianity, too. We need to remember our fellow humans who are starving.

A blessed Ramadan (starts 8/11) to all my Muslim friends.
