All you car buffs out there...what kind of car is this? I saw it the other day in Port Jefferson and wondered if it might be a customized dune buggy. Maybe a Maserati? Santa's new sleigh?
(( laughing )) Hi -- it looks to me like the custom creation of the son of a man that owns an auto body repair shop - the lad had the run of the place and "did his thing"!!
Sure did a fine job - that's a good-looking car!!!
A kit, eh? That would explain it. He was whipping around the corner recklessly as if it was not a pricey car. There is an auto body repair shop in the village, but the paint job would be nicer if it was made there.

Ray says it's a Kit Car made from a Volks Bug to look like a Fort GT
Just like in the 60's & 70's people bought kits to make dune buggy's
Ford, I meant to say Ford not Fort
I like the "Santa's new sleigh" idea
:)

How funny. I think it's Santa's new sleigh.
