Saw a flock of about 25 of these Ring-necked ducks this afternoon at Melville Pond. Also a couple of Shovelers, a bunch of Gadwalls and the usual gaggle of Mallards. What caught my eye first, though, was a group of Hooded Mergansers. They are so striking.

Didn't Cheryl rescue a mergerser? I know I spelled that wrong, I can't go back and see how you did it.
I don't know. Did she? I'm going to put links to pix of the kind s of ducks I saw since I didn't get any good pictures.
