Rose garden, Southampton
A must-do pilgrimmage in late June, this wonderful rose garden right next to the public library in Southampton. Words fail me -- the variety, the perfect condition, the tasteful arrangement. A great and unique gift to the public. 250 rose bushes. You could wear out your camera here.

Wow that's a lot of roses!! Beautiful!! mine were abundant this year for some reason, all the early rain I suppose? Now they are all gross, the jap beetles ate what was left of the leaves.
That looks like a wonderful place for a visit some day. Do any of them smell?
Yes, a few have scent. But if all of them did--250--it would be chaotic!
It's so nice to be in a garden that's perfectly maintained--by somebody else. Those Japanese beetles are terrible.Haven't seen any recently around here. Gues we exported them all to CT.
