I wish I could bring her up here, but I don't have enough property for her roam around as she seems to enjoy. What a great story about the spirit that animals have.
A capricious twist of fate has endowed Amelia with both a name and concern for her welfare. It's funny how we humans can empathize with Amelia's plight, yet blithely turn the other cheek regarding the rest of her herd heading for slaughter.

Great story - I'd love to see those meadows - they must be extensive for that cow to be able to vanish like that.
Hope they do give her a reprieve - I sure couldn't sell my two cows ....
