How 'bout if we all meet there one day ... or... drive there in a small group? It would be such a pick-me-up in the drabness of winter. That redhead in the picture, could that be Cheryl?

I would love to go!! What a wonderful idea to help shake the winter blahs out of my bones. I betcha Kris & Maureen would love to go as well. What a great idea!
I was taken aback for a moment when I clicked on your blog...it does look a lot like me, how funny!
Yeah, I' ll drive if you need....
I would love to go too. We could actually take the train into NYC, We could hook up with you there P and then go onto Philly. What does everyone think?
That's a good possibility, Maureen. Having a car in Philly would be useful but also a bit of a headache (parking)
Would you guys need to come back the same day? I would like to stay overnight. It says the best viewing time is after 3pm.
Biddie, can you teleport yourself up north?
I have to work Tues 3/3 and Fri. 3/6, starting at 1pm. There's a faint possibility I could get a day off if Tues or Fri is the best day for you all.
The train sounds like a fun adventure. I'm not sure about the overnight part, but as far as the schedule I'm open to what works best for everyone else.
I would love to go to a flower show - went to the NY show years ago - blew me away - amazin lot of work went into the displays and to get flowers to all bloom at the same time!
Thanks for thinking to include me but the teleporter is down for a couple of years....
Well, we have 2 months in which to decide about transport. I'm very glad you guys are interested in going to the show! It will be memorable, I'm sure.
Just let me know what date I have to take off work.
I'm thinking possibly the Wednesday of that week, that would be the 4th.
What think ye, fellow travellers?
Ok let me check with work and what Corey is up to and I will let you know.
Priscilla, I was so excited about the thought of meeting up with you and going to the flower show, I didn't realize the logistics of the trip. I just found out that it is a four hour trip one way. I can't really leave for such an extended day trip due to Dave's schedule being so erratic and my thundering herd of animals. I'm so sorry.
It's such a great idea, maybe we can find a flower exposition closer to all of us in NY or Ct.?
It really is such a great idea, and I'd love to be able to visit with you again. Again, I'm sorry to be the wet blanket and hope you aren't upset at me.
Cheryl: It's really too bad that you won't be able to go to the flower show! I know you would have been entranced. But I know that you have many responsibilities that keep you close to home.
Well, I'll be going, anyway, if I can manage it, whether driving or taking the train (the train would be much more expensive).
I hope Maureen and Kristen will be able to go, too.
Oh I wish I could bring Mom and we could see the flowers also. It sounds absolutely wonderful. If all goes really well, Mom might be up for it by then. (On new medication for her Parkinson's walking difficulties.) I don't really know how far it is to Philly and I don't think we could, but it sounds lovely.
