Good Morning - I saw from TV reports that another storm has swept through your area - this one much stronger than the previous one. You had mentioned about the previous one that your location on the north shore of LI protected you - I hope that your area was lucky enough to escape the worst of this one also! If these train of storms had come through this area, my annual case of "hurricane anxieties" would be in full charge! Hope you are OK.
Thanks for your concern! Thursday's weather was 2 tornadoes and a micro-burst of 120 mph wind. These caused all the damage in Queens and other places. We just had a bit of rain. I brought all my potted plants indoors, which turned out to unnecessary.

P.S. the portulaca are keepers - hopefully they will reseed themselves again for next year - they are beautiful.
