arg!!!!!!!!!! I know they all need food but squirrels are just plain pigs!!! I throw seed out on the ground for them because I have an umbrella on my feeder pole so they can't get up to the bird feeders
Last winter I didn't have a squirrel problem, but now there are two of them ... I might have to quit filling up the tube feeder and just throw seed on the ground, but they vacuum that up too.
and I'm tired of chasing him (them) away

How funny. Same here. I suppose he serves the purpose of scattering more seeds on the ground for the birds who like to eat on the ground.
Lately a mockingbird has been coming around to my great delight.
