Clouds are always interesting, but they were not at all welcome yesterday at 6:30 pm when the transit of Venus was beginning. Went home and watched it on the computer.
We had drifting clouds and sunshine in between. Our neighbor gave a top drawer party to view it. Very nice. His telescope was set to project the image on a hand made screen held on an easel. Large groups could gather and all see it at once in that way.
