Grumble, grumble

I feel like walking. I wish the paths were dry. I want to see green again. I'm tired of my winter coat. I'm tired of the world on TV. Won't some birds please start singing? When do we turn the clocks ahead? I need some aimlessness. Was that a spring peeper I just heard?

I'm right there with you grumbling alongside...the garden catalogs have started showing up in the mailbox and all they do is feed my winter angst.

The other night I was thinking about spring while looking out at the huge piles of snow...tried not to dwell on the fact that it will be along time before I'll be able to step foot in the gardens due to the utter saturated mess they will be.

Feh!

Tomorrow Dave has promised to venture out into the swamp with me.

(I'll admit it...pure coyote bait, I think I can outrun him)

So, hopefully I'll stumble across something that reawakens my appreciation for the wintry landscape.

My kingdom for a crocus!

beautiful path(s) thru the woods - what a peaceful place to walk. I can feel for you guys for your sense of winter entrapment - the same thing used to happen to me when I lived up North. The winters down here are a reward for getting through the summers with all their heat.

Good luck Cheryl - get that picture of the beaver dam - Dave is definitely multi-talented - add "anti-coyote device" to his resume.

Do you have snowshoes? They may liberate you somewhat.

Maybe Mr. Coyote Bait could plow a walking path for you around your big lawn.

Mr. Coyote Bait might be looking at me in the same light lol.

Hmmmm...food for thought.

Of course, I was joking. If the coyotes had to choose between Dave and I ~

Well, it's been nice knowing you :)

It sure is windy though.

Our snow is almost gone all of a sudden. I went for a walk in the Park.
