A few snowflakes today

It took an hour to get to work today, normally a 15-minute drive. Here's how much we had by 1:15. At 3:00 they closed the campus, so I was home before dark for a change. Looks like about four or five inches so far (7pm). How are you folks in CT making out?

Good Morning! Glad you were able to get home before dark - the 2nd photo with the traffic lights is interesting with the automatic devices trying to keep order in the midst of Mother Nature's confusion ....

I was let out about 1:30, it started snowing at noon, we ended up leaving about 2:20 and I was home before 3, normal time 20 minutes without traffic so I did ok, came home and fell asleep in my chair!
I think we got 6-8 inches. I'll go see in a bit, I am up too early

We received about 9", but it drifted so in some areas over a foot. It snowed all day for perhaps another inch. I ventured out this afternoon and the roads were terrible until I got to the East side, we are not a high priority out here in the woods.

How did you fare with all the snow?

Priscilla, THANK YOU for the scarf, I will post me wearing it tomorrow, tonight I got home late and was not in the best looking shape for a picture, I am a bit ragged and tired from being sick, but what a lovely surprise and how thoughtful of you!! I love it. Thanks!!

You are very welcome, Kristen! I enjoyed making it. It's the one thing I know how to knit.

Packages are also in the mail to Biddie and Cheryl (and maybe Oppie if I get up the nerve). C's may arrive on Friday(production delays)

Our snowstorm wasn't too bad, total about 7 inches, turned to rain on Sunday so much melted. Then it got really cold today. Brrr.
Get some rest, K. That's the best medicine.

You didn't have to send me anything!
I appreciate you thinking of me though, thank you.
