The trail lies ahead--Blydenburgh Park






I'm looking forward to future hikes in this fine park. This picture is from early May of last year.

I can't blame you! Beautiful setting which I bet is even better in Spring and Fall. Not sure how the bugs are there but Summer would look good also.

Hi Oppy, You've been MIA for a while. Welcome back!

This park is a gem with a lake in the middle called Stump Pond. You can hear highway traffic far off while looking up at large old trees. The trail all around is about 5 miles. I've done it twice. Entrance in the summer is by Green Key, which I've never bought, as one can always park along the street outside the park and walk in. Perhaps this summer they will have a more lenient policy.
