100 squares

I finally finished stitching together all the squares to make the coverlet begun years ago. I'd like to claim that the eccentric color changes were deliberate creative choices but actually I just ran out of certain colored yarns. It was fun--and the larger it got the better it kept my feet warm as I stitched.

wow!! Thats amazing, nice job P!!! I still have a blanket my Grandma knitted me when I was in 8th grade. It's the granny square (I think thats what its called) pattern. I'll try to remember to take a picture and show you. she knitted me a sweater too but I can't find it :( it might be at my moms, I probably would never fit it again but I would like to have it, thats a great talent you have.!!!

Aw, thanks, Kristen. It's really a very amateurish job, as a close look would show. I can't believe I finished something that big. Can picture it spread over the back of a future sofa.
