Another yellow flower to identify

I seem to be fixated on the color yellow this spring and summer--Western goat's beard, prickly pear, sundrops, dandelions, and now this little wildflower. The pictures are from late May. Is it a cinquefoil? Nearby was a small pink wildflower with a strange needle-like seed pod.

Ha-ha!

It's a wildflower and they are all precious to me.

I haven't seen that before, interesting foliage ~ reminds me of a carrot's, lol, feathery.

I have to admit that my tastes have changed towards the yellow/reds of the color wheel in respect to my garden, I used to disdain them but now appreciate the bright notes they add to the garden song.

I still abhor dandelions though...;)

I recognise, but can't remember the name of the purple one with the pointy things. As a kid, we used to pick the pointy things and they would curl up

Is the purple flower with the needle-like seeds called pin-clover or storksbill? Something like this was in TX, out at Coyote Run.
