Hi - on my slow (very slow) dialup internet connection, it takes almost an hour to download a video like this but well worth the time.

It was very interesting. The music was beautiful but I was curious as to why it seemed to be of a western influence instead of more near-eastern chordal structures and rhythms.

Pakistan is truly a beautiful country and with a beautiful, intelligent group of peoples - what a horrid shame that there is so much strife there - when will the peoples of this Earth ever be able to live in peace?

Just think if we here in the US had to survive under conditions such as this and also found elsewhere in the world .....

Hi Biddie,

I think people who made this video might be western educated and with a painful but hopeful heart of Pakistan.

Yes, You are right its very hard living in these conditions. Just an hour ago my wife was saying me too...See we are satisfied that now at about 4:00 pm our kids would be able to come back home. but back home....and her eyes were wet.
peace

Biddie, I don't know if the folks in the US would even have any idea how to live and survive, we panic here and lots of people expect too much from others

And now the terrorists have started to bomb universities! Makes no sense. Who would be recruited by such actions? No one.

"Who would be recruited by such actions?"

Knowledge is power.

Ignorance, prejudice, and hatred is easily manipulated. Poverty and hardship creates the breeding ground.

Unfortunately, much of the world is a fertile bed for such a bitter harvest.

Wasn't the university that was bombed a women's school? I would suspect that the bombing was less of a recruiting event and more intended to be a warning about educating women ....
