Still some color

Can you imagine, iris in November?

Not sure what these are.

I've been amazed by the growing quirks in my garden this season. Days ago I noticed fresh rose buds growing on the arbor.

Unfortunately they didn't survive the latest freezing, but I was surprised by their late appearance.

I've never had a second blooming on my Clematis before either, that was a nice surprise :)

I was in Avon CT last Tuesday, the rodedendrums were blooming again. I know I spelled that completely wrong, I am sorry about that, I wish there was spell check in the comments section. I am being too lazy to check my dictionary

Any how, I think all the plants are really confused. It is very warm for this time of year ,you think?

Today it was in the high 50s, quite nice. But this isn't unusual for LI. I guess it is for you. Perhaps our zone is extending up into your area.

That iris may have been recently planted.
