A few miscellaneous pictures

This was last Sunday. I paid 4.09 yesterday.

Beach plums in bloom at the beach.

Civil War binoculars and cornet. Heavy!

All that's left on the ledge.

I went into town today, spent $20 bucks on gas which got me a quarter of a tank...sheesh! Not really worth the trip..but you have me beat~high test here is at $4.15 a gallon. My own poison of choice 87 octane was $3.75.

That last picture is sad...no news of the goslings' fate?

Alas, no news of the goslings. I'm glad I took those pictures. They were gone within a few hours.

Ah, the wee little goslings - I hope they made it to a safe place okay ....

And the gas prices - aaiiieeee!!

I heard on the radio today that Pres. Bush has decreed that the usual allocation of oil that goes into the emergency storage vaults now, instead, be put directly into the regular manufacturing process for the public ....

I didn't know anything about this.

I wonder if an "gosling watch" network could be started up there on campus with people reporting in whenever they spot them?

The campus is vacant rihgt now except for a few staff. It would be hard to get such a thing organized now, but it's a good idea for the future.
