Looks like he has the same mathematical skills as I...I certainly didn't get Mom's math gene at all!
OMG!! that line item would sure cause an auditor to blink once or twice - glad you were willing to give up your $2001.xx change for that measily $20.00 !!
Shows you how important a decimal point can be! I bet the kid had some fun deleting that transaction from the system before re-entering it correctly.
I don't think he knew how to operate the register, a fairly important skill if your job is to handle money! Wonder how he reconciled things at the end of the day...but then he may have been the manager of that Rite-Aid Drugstore and could overlook it.
Please pardon me, in advance, for the following observation:

Ah, the sweet satisfying smell of verbal agility - in all its forms!!
I'm listening to the candidates making their points right now, so only half my pint-sized brain is devoted to this reply... You are sharp, Mrs. A, and no one needs to point that out, but I must punctute your balloon: The Colonial Period is over, full stop. We are an indepointant nation...and if elected I will immediately....
So how was the candy bar?
