Cheryl, I went back on your blog to last spring because I remembered a thread on the red newt. In scrolling back I enjoyed once more the beautiful flowers you posted in June 2008. And then I stumbled on some pictures (especially #5) that made me whoop with laughter again.
Oh my!!

Thanks for pulling those posts out of the archives - fun times for you guys. Couldn't help wish that my father had moved us out there years sooner - Bill, Tom and I missed a lot.
Dad loves those spotted newts :) That was a fun afternoon, Dad & Dave are pretty funny together, two big kids!
Thank you for the nice comment about my garden. I'm afraid this year might not be as good due to all this rain. The season started out very well, but the worm has turned!
