Your pictures are really fine - they remind me of a winter day on the beach (Gulf of Mexico beach) along the Bolivar Peninsula where I lived for 20 years. I was always amazed that a couple of the dogs would still go into the water as rough and as cold as it was ....
I'm with Cheryl - I miss easy access to the beach also!
They're a bit repetitive but we wouldn't want you to get to feeling too cozy around your fireplace, now would we? Bleakness therapy.
