We had snow!

At 8 o'clock this morning

Starting on the walk

a little farther along

Time to measure. You probably can't read the numbers...23 inches! (Waal, 22 and a half)

Snow cones on the rhododendron

A little less snow under the shrubs

Threw out some birdseed there

Juncos noticed, were out and scrounging.

whoopee!! you have snow!! beautiful snow!!

Bbbbbuuuuuuutttttt .... I forgot about the shoveling part .... I hope it was light, dry, fluffy snow and wasn't too difficult to shovel ....

Cheryl's area only got a few inches of snow compared to the amount that you got. I tried to talk her into making a snow angel in it - she only agreed to a hesitant ~maybe~. If you tried to make one with all that snow there in your yard, you just might get lost down in the bottom of the depths of it and would have to holler for some help out ....

Hope you don't get a set of sore muscles from your shoveling - have a warm cup of cocoa - thanks for the nice pictures!

You're welcome. The shovelling was good exercise. The town had our road clear by mid-day but nobody went out. Nice and peaceful. Sunshine today.

You did a great job wringing out that storm, lol. We received only about 4" or so. Thanks!!

Unfortunately it's still bitter cold with a nasty windchill...Brrrrrr. The snow angel will wait until temps rise above the 30's!!

Wow you did get snow!!! We got 2-3 inches only. Usually we get hit hard but this one didn't come near our area. I love it but I don't love shoveling it, usually if Ray is not home, I shovel the deck every hour just to keep up with it so it isn't such a big job. a couple inches is easier than a couple feet!!

Oh I was hoping for pictures of your big snow. Was it a record?

I don't think it was a record but close enough for me to remember.
