Just astonishing the preparation that those gardeners have to go through to get the plants ready and blooming for the show - then transporting them being careful not to damage them - then to get all the display materials in there !!!!
The briskly flowing brook display is amazing - what an experience - I'm envious - the garden show in P.C. couldn't even come close - it paled in comparison.
You said it, Biddie. A show like that can't be topped in my estimation. And with the economy heading downhill I wonder if there will be such another one in my lifetime. I'm glad I got to see it.
I have many more pictures to post but I think I will give it a rest for a few days.
There was one whole area of competitions where Joe Blow had as good a chance as any professional. I'm guessing they were all from PA. The major displays (the regions of Italy) were done by nurseries and horticulture schools. But the vendors were from everywhere even a few from foreign countries (bulbs). I could have spent another 2 days looking at the vendors (about 140 of them, not 400 as I said) but my mind closed down after a while. As I look at the pix now I'm remembering details and that is fun.

I love seeing your pictures, not only are they beautiful but inspiring as well.
I've never seen a plant like the snaky ones. They remind me of Medusa.
It looks like you would need 3 days to see everything at that show! Were most of the exhibitors locals from PA?
