Holy moly!

When did that happen? Seems just the other day it was at $4.30.
What is gas in your area?

Varies a bit. Highs today are around $3.18. I saw a low on yesterday of $3.05 which I took advantage of. Joy just came back from Philly yesterday and said she saw $2.97. (I've left off .9 cents from all the prices)

I was surprised too when I went to town on Tuesday ... heard on the radio that between the economy forcing people to drive less and the speculators finally being driven out of the market that the prices have fallen....

Yesterday I paid $2.95.9 for gas. No I didn't order a chili for dinner.

Now the next question is "how low will it go?"

My informants tell me that it's even cheaper up in SE Wyoming. There's a refinery just east of Cheyenne and it's usually about 5 to 10 cents cheaper.

Well, now the gas at my favorite station is at $2.78.9/gal

Price now 3.059 here, down 14 cents in the last week!
Oppie, you are 27 cents lower; how does that make you feel?

Still being raped and pillaged but having a little extra money in my pocket again.

Still waiting to see how low it will go.

OK, one day later and the same gas station. Today the price was $2.72.9

You want me to keep checking?

Good Morning! Last Thursday (which was my last excursion into the outside world), I found the prices in the County south of mine to be running between $2.729 and $2.759. Here in my county, which has fewer gas stations, the price runs about $2.799. Walmart has an interesting teaser - if you put $$ on a gas card at the checkout aisle and then use it at the gas pump, you get a .03 discount on the pump price.

P.S. Last night I saw on TV that in the city of Harlengen, TX, the gas is $2.029 all over town .....

Oh my gosh, 2.02. That would make me drive more.
