Would you rescue him, Cheryl?

Some critters are lovable, some are not.

Actually, I might. I love bats, and vampire bats don't really freak me out.
Although, thinking about it I might have a problem getting the blood...that would be an issue.
Ok, I concede on this critter...he would be over my head I think. Unless I could get Dad to visit more often (just kidding Dad).

I brought a porcupine into the vet's once, it was so funny. The rescue center I had contacted about him asked if I could bring him there. There was a man sitting with his little dog by the front desk when I came in. The porcupine was in a dog carrier, and you should have seen the man's face when he saw what I was carrying in.

The vet techs were so flustered by Mr. Porky that I had to go into the back to put him into one of the cages. It was pretty funny.

"getting the blood...that would be an issue." Ah, her razor-sharp mind goes right to the central problem.

He wouldn't be over your head...around your ankles maybe.

Ha! Little ankle biters...aside from their unsavory choice of nourishment, they are kind of cute.

(( grin )) so ugly that, like gargoyles, they can sometimes seem cutish ... Blood might be available from a slaughter house or from old, unuseable (sp?) blood from a blood bank .....

I always get a good laugh out of Cheryl's animal adventures!
